Anysola Code 1.0 is out. We rewrote it in Rust from the ground up. It does everything 0.5 did, and it starts in a few milliseconds.

What changed

0.51.0
Download196 MBabout 10 MB
anysola --version80 msabout 3 ms
Running app3 processes, about 340 MB1 process

There's no background service any more. Closing the app closes everything.

Your sessions come with you

The first time 1.0 starts, it imports your 0.5 sessions, settings and sign-in. Your old files stay where they were.

New in 1.0

  • The mouse works everywhere: tabs, dialogs, permission prompts and collapsible blocks.
  • Images you paste or that a tool returns show up inline. Turn previews on in /settings.
  • Mermaid blocks in answers are drawn as diagrams: flowcharts, sequence, state, gantt, timeline and git graphs.
  • On Windows, multi-line paste, non-ASCII clipboard text and npx MCP servers all work.

Usage limits instead of credits

Anysola Code and Anysola Chat now share one usage limit: a 5-hour window and a weekly one. The status line shows how much of each you've used and when it resets, and /usage has the details. When a window is full, you can wait for it to reset or use a banked reset to keep going. /budget now takes a percent of the 5-hour window.

To mark 1.0, everyone gets one banked reset. It's on your Billing page and expires in 30 days.

Update

If you already have Anysola Code, run:

anysola update

New install on macOS or Linux:

curl -fsSL https://www.anysola.com/install | sh

On Windows, in PowerShell:

irm https://www.anysola.com/install.ps1 | iex

Or with npm: npm i -g @anysola/code.

0.5 asks you to update the next time you start it.
